We strongly encourage you to visit us and to sample our wines. Within the Pas De Calais we have the unique reputation of letting you - the customer - choose which bottle (with a few exceptions) you would like to taste. So why not come and taste?
At other wine shops tasting is either limited or is just not possible. Why buy wine which you can only guess at? At Le Chai Ardresien, "the Good Wine Shop" you can taste before you buy. It just makes good sense!

SO WHERE ARE WE?

Le Chai Ardresien, "The Good Wine Shop" is ten minutes from the congestion and bustle of Calais. Bois en Ardres, and the adjacent town of Ardres, are both pretty villages with lakes, accommodation, many restaurants and shops. We can, and do, help customers with restaurant bookings and, with our extensive contacts, accommodation. You Will always receive a friendly welcome with English speaking staff.

Directions from Port of Calais:

From the Ferry port turn left, direction Paris. After passing the Hoverport on left take 2nd exit marked Boulogne. Immediately take the next exit marked "Junction 46 Ardres" Follow D943 for about 6km to a small roundabout in Bois-en-Ardres. Le Chai Ardresien with the "Good Wineshop" sign is on your left. There is ample parking at the rear.

Directions from the Tunnel:

From the Tunnel exit take right fork on to the A16, direction Calais. Leave at Junction 46. Follow D943 to a small roundabout in Bois-en-Ardres. Le Chai Ardresien with the "Good Wineshop" sign is on your left. There is ample parking at the rear.
